Lou Izzo

As a 20 plus year veteran of the real estate industry, Lou was most recently President of Hunt Real Estate ERA, the largest ERA franchise in the world. During his tenure at Hunt, the company grew from 7 offices in one market to over 35 offices in 6 separate markets. In 2009 the company was ranked by Realtor magazine as the fastest growing real estate company in the U.S. Lou founded Real Estate Leadership to follow his career long passion for teaching, recruiting and leadership. An expert in sales, sales management, recruiting and leadership, Lou brings his passion to brokers across North America with services and systems designed to grow their businesses at exciting levels. From his start in real estate to present, Lou has worked in every facet of the residential real estate industry including: sales, recruiting, training, relocation, regional management, and executive management. His experience includes executive leadership, sales, finance, marketing, relocation, IT, compliance, human resources and more.

 

Lou has written and developed many nationally recognized programs in agent development, leadership, recruitment, relocation, management and many other topics. His specific areas of training expertise encompass recruiting, leadership training, sales training for real estate agents, and profitability in management.

 

Under Lou's leadership, Hunt Real Estate ERA won several national sales awards including:

  • 8 consecutive Top Brokerage awards for ERA Real Estate worldwide

  • The CARTUS Mobility Cup

  • An unprecedented 5 CARTUS Mobility Masters Cups for excellence in Corporate Relocation.

 

Lou was a member of CARTUS Principal Advisory Council and served as the Chairman from 2009 through 2011. In addition, Lou won several awards including the Outstanding Human Resource Professional through the Society of Human Resource Management and The Hope, Care, and Dignity Award from the Center for Hospice and Palliative Care, where he served as Board Chair and Chairman of its Executive Committee.
